Overview
Ticmint provides seamless integration capabilities for partners to transition to the Ticmint ticketing platform while maintaining their brand identity. This
white-labeling solution ensures that customers feel they are interacting with the partner’s website rather than a third-party platform.
For example, if you own a website called example.com and want to host your event ticketing through Ticmint, you can configure a subdomain, such as events.example.com, which will be hosted by Ticmint. When a customer clicks on an event button on example.com, they will be redirected to events.example.com, ensuring a consistent brand experience with your logo, theme, and domain.
This document outlines the steps required to implement the Ticmint white-labeling solution.
Steps to Set Up White-Labeling on Ticmint
Become a Partner with Ticmint
To integrate your website with Ticmint’s ticketing platform, follow these steps:
Register as a partner with Ticmint.
Provide branding details such as your logo, website URL, and other relevant information to the Ticmint team.
Ticmint will configure these details in the backend and provide you with access credentials to log into the Ticmint dashboard.
Configure Subdomain Routing to Ticmint
To route your subdomain traffic to Ticmint’s platform, update your DNS settings with your provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Hostinger, Cloudflare) by adding the following DNS record:
DNS Type: CNAME
Name: events.example.com
Value: prodlb-2063135389.ap-south-1.elb.amazonaws.com
SSL Configuration for the Subdomain
For secure HTTPS access, an SSL certificate must be configured for your subdomain (e.g., events.example.com). Follow these steps:
Step 1 (Optional): If you have a CAA record in your DNS, add the following entry to allow Amazon’s SSL issuance:
Step 2: Contact the Ticmint team to obtain the necessary DNS parameters for SSL configuration and update them in your DNS provider settings.
Configure and Theme Your Event on Ticmint
Once your domain and SSL are set up:
Log in to the Ticmint dashboard using the credentials provided.
Create and configure your event within the Ticmint system.
Use the Theme Configuration section to customize the event page to match your website’s branding, ensuring a seamless look and feel.
Obtain the event URL from the event page in the dashboard.
Integrate the Event Link on Your Website
Add the event link to a button on your website (e.g., Buy Tickets or Register Now).
When customers click the button, they will be redirected to events.example.com, where they can continue their ticketing journey without noticing a platform switch.
For example, below is one of our existing partner site
Upon clicking the “Buy Your Tickets Now” button, the user transitioned to the Ticmint hosted Page.
Embed an Event Listing Page on Your Website
You can integrate an event listing page on your website to display all your events seamlessly. The Ticmint team will provide you with an iframe, which you can embed into your website. This ensures that any events created on the Ticmint platform will automatically appear on your website without any manual updates.
White-Labeled Email IDs
Ticmint also allows you to use white-labeled email IDs, ensuring that emails sent to your customers appear to come from your own domain, increasing trust and brand consistency. Ticmint will create two email subdomains:
Marketing Emails: A subdomain dedicated to marketing communications, e.g.,
join.example.com.
Transactional Emails: A subdomain used for order confirmations and notifications, e.g., mail.example.com.
Please contact the Ticmint support team to obtain the necessary DNS configurations, which you will need to set up on your end.
By following these steps, you can successfully implement Ticmint’s white-labeling solution, providing your customers with a smooth and branded ticketing experience.
