Overview
The Email Marketing tool enables you to create, manage, and track email campaigns effectively. It provides features to compose emails, add images and logos, upload contacts, and monitor campaign performance.
Accessing the Email Marketing Feature
Navigate to the Marketing section from the dashboard.
Click on the Email Marketing tab.
You will see options to create a new campaign or filter and search for existing campaigns.
Creating an Email Campaign
1. Start a New Campaign
Click on the New Campaign button to begin creating your email campaign.
2. Compose Your Email
Fill out the following fields:
Subject: Enter the subject line of your email.
From: Specify the sender’s email address.
Add Header Image:
Click on the image area to upload your header.
Recommended image size is 1600x615 pixels, and the file size should not exceed 1MB.
Write Content:
Use the text editor to format your email content. You can:
Apply formatting such as bold, italics, and underline.
Insert links, bullet points, and other text elements.
3. Add Branding Elements
Add Logo: Upload your organization's logo.
Social Media Links: Add links to your social media profiles for greater engagement.
Organizer Details: Input the organizer’s name, address, and contact information.
Adding Recipients to Your Campaign
After composing your email, click on the Done button to proceed to the recipient selection page.
You have several options for adding recipients:
Import from Previous Events:
Select an event to import attendees' email addresses.
Upload CSV File:
Ensure your CSV file is formatted correctly:
Column A: Email addresses
Column B: Names
Click Upload CSV to add your list.
Manually Add Email:
Click Add Email to enter individual email addresses manually.
Once you have added your contacts, click Done to save your recipient list
Select the list or emails from the recipient list and click on send.
Tracking Campaign Performance
Campaign Dashboard:
View the performance metrics of your campaigns, including:
Delivered: Number of emails successfully delivered.
Opened: Number of emails opened by recipients.
Clicks: Number of times links in the email were clicked.
Bounced: Number of emails that failed to deliver.
Status: Current status of the campaign (e.g., Draft, Sent).
Tips for Successful Campaigns
Use a clear and engaging subject line to increase open rates.
Personalize your content to connect with your audience.
Optimize images and logos to maintain a professional look.
Include clear calls-to-action (CTAs) to encourage engagement.
