The Registration Form helps you collect essential attendee information during ticket purchase. You can customize the form by adding your own questions, selecting answer types, and marking responses as required, so you gather exactly the data you need.
1. Accessing the Registration Form
Go to your Event Dashboard.
Select the event you want to edit (e.g., Copa Del Rey).
From the left-side menu, click Registration Form under the More section.
2. Choosing the Form Scope
At the top of the Registration Form page, decide how often the questions should appear:
Per Order: The form is shown once per transaction.
Ideal when you only need buyer details or one set of answers per purchase.
Examples: Purchaser’s name, email, company name, general dietary needs.
Per Ticket: The form is shown for every ticket purchased.
Best when you require details from each individual attendee.
Examples: Attendee’s name, T-shirt size, dietary requirements.
3. Adding Questions
Click + Add Question.
Enter your question text (e.g., “What is your T-shirt size?”).
Choose an answer type:
Text:
Allows attendees to enter a free-form text response.
Use for: Names, addresses, short descriptions, or any open-ended answer.Number:
Accepts only numeric input.
Use for: Age, quantity, ID numbers, or any field where only numbers are valid.Phone Number:
Dedicated field for a valid phone number.
Use for: Collecting attendee mobile or landline numbers.Multi Select:
Lets attendees select multiple options from a list.
Use for: Allergies, interests, dietary restrictions where more than one choice can apply.Single Select:
Attendees must pick only one option from a list.
Use for: Gender, T-shirt size, meal preference where only one answer is expected.Checkbox:
A single checkbox attendees can tick (yes/no).
Use for: Accepting terms and conditions, confirming attendance, opt-in agreements.Name:
Formatted field for entering a full name.
Use for: Ensuring proper collection of attendee names in a structured format.Nationality:
Provides a list or selector for the attendee’s nationality.
Use for: Events where attendee nationality or country must be logged.Email:
Requires input of a valid email address.
Use for: Contacting attendees, sending confirmations, or digital tickets.
Tick Required if attendees must answer before checkout.
Add as many questions as needed to collect relevant information.
4. Saving and Publishing
After adding all desired questions, click Save.
Your form will now appear at checkout according to the selected form scope (Per Order or Per Ticket).
Best Practices
Keep your form short for a smoother checkout experience.
Only require answers to essential questions to avoid frustrating buyers.
Test your registration form before launch by submitting a trial registration.
Properly configured registration forms help you collect valuable attendee information efficiently and improve event planning accuracy.
