This document explains how organisers can add new recipients to their contact lists in the Ticmint Dashboard. Recipient lists are used for Email Marketing, WhatsApp Marketing, and Campaign communications to ensure messages are sent to the right audience.
Overview: What Are Recipients?
Recipients are contacts (email addresses and/or mobile numbers) stored in recipient lists. These lists are used to send:
Email marketing campaigns
WhatsApp marketing campaigns
Event announcements and updates
Adding recipients correctly helps you:
Build targeted audiences
Ensure successful message delivery
Avoid campaign failures due to incorrect data
Step 1: Log in to the Ticmint Dashboard
Open the Ticmint Support Portal.
Sign in using your registered business or organisational email.
After successful login, you will land on the Dashboard home screen.
Step 2: Open the Recipients Module
From the left-hand navigation menu, click Recipients.
You will be taken to the Recipient Lists page.
This page shows all existing recipient lists with:
List name
Total number of contacts
Email count
Mobile number count
Step 3: Select a Recipient List
You can add recipients to an existing list or create a new list.
Option A: Add to an Existing List
Locate the recipient list you want to update.
Click the Manage or Edit icon next to the list.
The Recipient List Details page will open.
Option B: Create a New Recipient List
Click Create New List (if available).
Enter:
List Name (example: Delhi Buyers – Feb 2026)
Description (optional, for internal reference)
Click Save.
Step 4: Click “Add Recipients”
Inside the selected recipient list, click Add Recipients.
You will see multiple options to add new contacts.
Step 5: Choose a Method to Add New Recipients
Method 1: Import from Events
Use this option to add attendees from your events automatically.
Select Import from Events.
Choose from:
Past events
Ongoing or upcoming events
Select the required event(s).
Confirm the import.
Best for:
Targeting existing buyers, attendees, or registrants.
Method 2: Upload Recipients via CSV
Use this option for bulk uploads.
Select Upload CSV.
Upload a CSV file containing:
Email address column
Mobile number column
Ensure:
Correct column headers
No extra spaces or special characters
Valid email and phone number formats
Click Upload and wait for confirmation.
Best for:
Large contact lists are collected offline or from external tools.
Method 3: Add Recipients Manually
Use this option to add individual contacts.
Click Add Contact.
Enter:
Email address
Mobile number
Click Save.
Best for:
Adding a small number of specific contacts.
Step 6: Verify Added Recipients
After adding recipients:
Check the total contact count
Review email count and mobile number count
Use the Search bar to confirm that contacts were added correctly
All changes are saved automatically.
Step 7: Use Recipients in Campaigns
Once recipients are added, the updated list becomes available for:
Email Marketing campaigns
WhatsApp Marketing campaigns
Future event communications
No additional syncing is required.
Best Practices for Adding Recipients
Use clear and meaningful list names
Avoid duplicate contacts
Regularly remove invalid or inactive contacts
Verify CSV data before uploading
Test campaigns with a small list before bulk sending
Common Issues & Solutions
CSV upload failed?
→ Check file format, column headers, and data accuracy.
Recipients not receiving messages?
→ Verify email and mobile number formats.
Wrong recipients added?
→ Review the selected list before importing or uploading.
